Stupid Potato Chip Companies

Dear Potato Chip Companies,

I am highly annoyed by the fact there is more air in the bag then potato chips. I don’t remember paying my hard earned 50 cents for air. I am filled with disappointment every time I open a bag of potato chips.

Afternoon snack time is the worst. IT IS VERY DISAPPOINTING TEARING INTO A BAG OF LAYS TO FIND AIR WHERE MY AFTERNONN SNACK SHOULD BE. Nothing is sadder than a nearly empty bag of potato chips when you are starving. It seems you potato chip companies forgot to fill the bag with the most important ingredient, IDIOTS!!

Another thing, can you morons do anything about the fart smell that seeps out of the bag when opened? You guys make enough money gipping the world selling us air bags, you could at least find a better scent for disappointment. Whenever someone opens a bag of chips it’s like, okay, WHO FARTED? Potato chip companies you are just filled with so much disappointment. (THREE THUMBS DOWN)

I prefer Pringles now, you get more for your buck and those little things are packed with flavor. You can seal it when you are done and they won’t get hard after sitting out for 24 hours. With Pringles you get more for your money and a nice pop-top can. Pringles also smell like what they are advertising, if you are expecting blue cheese chips you will get blue cheese potato chips not fart cheese.

Why are potato chip bags half full? Is there a reason for this disappointment? I read somewhere that stupid potato chip companies fill the bag with air to protect the chips from crumbling during the shipping process. Why not make bigger bags for more potato chips and the protective air for the hungry people who love potato chips?

The price went up and the quantity went down when I was a kid potato chips cost 25 cents and the bags were the same size but filled with more potato chips. Now the price went from 25 cents to 50 cents an there are less chips and more air. Why pay more for less? THIS IS TRULY UNFAIR, I HATE YOU SELFISH PRICKS!

I will be sticking to veggie chips and Pringles for now on. Veggie chips are healthier and their bags aren’t filled with air. Pringles are tastier and again you get the bang for your buck. I am very disappointed with Lay’s and Wise chip companies the most. In my end result I will no longer be eating you air bag chips ….

Sincerely,

No Longer A Air Bag Eater . . . .

Popped "Forbidden"

Dan Josefson novel begins very dark with Benjamin the main character being put into boarding school. Benjamin sixteen years old, with failed suicides attempts. During the reading the term “Popped” caught my attention. Josefson described the meaning of the word as something forbidden or taken away. Benjamin has to get use to his morning meds, popped privileges and meetings to watch cartoons. The overview of the reading was enough to draw an avid reader.
During the reading Josefson introduced a few characters in his book. Pudding was bullied and tormented by the other children. Pudding got busted up with a shovel for hiding pancakes in his pockets. Ellie one of the staff members who watched over the boys. William one of the rebellious children in the school. Aubrey, the founder and headmaster who was falling sick.
Josefson's novel seems comical, hilarious, cute, dark and intelligent. "That's Not A Feeling" is like Ben Stiller's "Heavyweights". Pudding one of the characters in this comical book reminded me of Jerry from the movie. Pudding hid pancakes in his pockets while Jerry his candy and other delicious treats for the other heavyweights under his pillow.

Josefson is a great reader and he presented his book well. The style of the book is clean.  He seemed a little timid and kind of shy. He is very soft spoken he answers questions well. He made points and gave reason to his points in his answers. He made his audience want to buy his book. His inspiration for writing the book was working at a boarding school. It too him over six years to write the book.

I recently started reading this book online and I would recommend it to everyone. It made me laugh and it made me happy. I give this book three thumbs up and I haven’t finish reading it yet. Josefson is a strong writer. I love his work so far and I hope he writes more book in the future. It was a pleasure meeting him. I enjoyed the reading.

Why Digital Is Better Than Print

People retain knowledge and experiences better through physical interaction. Still the world prefers digital. “Applications are the new print. Because Digital media is inherently connected to services and new applications - each piece of information can find itself being stretched and morphed in new ways to solve a need.” (Blank).

“Digital is the future of reading. I am finding myself choosing screens over paper.” (Blank). People can download the newspaper, magazines and their favorite book straight to their phones and tablets. Parents are reading bedtime stories to their children from their iPads.

Apple and Android devices are two popular digital devices people use. Google and Apple have applications for these devices to make life easier. You can now FaceTime, Skype and Tango with family members all around the world.

Social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Linked-in and Instagram are instant ways you can watch videos and socialize with friends and family. Google, Ask and Bling are digital search engines used now and days over the encyclopedia. Until they realized that it was a portal to tons of family photos. “Then, suddenly, you see the barrier a breakdown, and older brother to join in the service and become active contributors.” (Blank).

Print can retain its original form and digital can be changed (Blank). The world still prefers digital. Everything has become instant gratification. The computer plays a big role on society. “Like many of you, I grew up in an age where libraries were the sole repositories of information” (Blank) No need wasting time visiting a library when you can do a Google search.
